     Funds from the sale of this book, and all the other publications of the Society, are used to support  restoration and conservation activities. At this time, these include the Casey House (1858), Mountain Home's oldest home and the site of the first court in Baxter County; Rapp's Barren Pioneer Settlement in Cooper Park, currently consisting of the Shotgun House, the Talburt-Leonard Log Cabin, and the Shady Grove  Schoolhouse; and the restoration of the Rollins Hospital Museum at Gassville, which will include a Genealogy and Local History Library.
